As the pioneering founder of Breathe Alive Clinic, Dr. Ratheesh serves as a leading consultant in the intricate fields of Craniomandibular Orthopedics and Craniofacial Sleep Medicine. His robust foundation in Maxillofacial Medicine and Radiology from Bapuji Dental College & Hospital, Davanagere empowers him to adopt a truly holistic approach, looking beyond conventional boundaries. Dr. Ratheesh’s expertise is further affirmed by his courses from the International College of Craniomandibular Orthopedics particularly dedicated to researching the profound impact of tethered oral tissues (such as tongue-tie) and oral myofascial dysfunction on maxillofacial development and how it impacts breathe, sleep & posture.
Dr. Ratheesh’s dedication to his profession is evident in his extensive pursuit of knowledge, encompassing numerous hours of advanced continuing education in Craniofacial Pain and Sleep Breathing Disorders. While adept at treating patients of all ages, he holds a profound belief in the transformative power of early growth guidance for children. Dr. Aswathi holds her ENT (Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery) residency from MMC, Mysore. Her specialized expertise encompasses the holistic management of conditions such as tongue-tie, nasal obstruction, mouth breathing, snoring, and obstructive sleep apnea.
Beyond treatment, Dr. Aswathi is keenly invested in understanding how improper cranio-facial development influence structural alterations in airway and throat leading to breathe and sleep issues. Driven by a commitment to non-invasive solutions, her practice centers on pinpointing the fundamental causes of breathing, sleep, and postural issues. At the core of Dr. Aswathi’s approach is a heartfelt desire to minimize the need for invasive, surgical procedures. Her ultimate goal is to identify and resolve these issues during early development, ensuring a healthier future and preventing a lifetime of chronic adult complications.
